Precision Sports Mettle Intra-workout Supplement

Precision's New BCAA/Intra-workout Supplement - Mettle!

Precision is a company based in Canada and they have just recently released a whole new set of products! One of those products, Mettle, is an intra-workout supplement featuring 10g of BCAA’s per serving at a 2:1:1 ratio (proven to be an effective ratio), L-Citrulline, path way nutrients to maximize your own production of BCAA’s, stomach acid buffers, and last but not least  it is fully instantized and contains ZERO sugar!

Mixability: 9/10 in the BCAA category. If you have ever had anything with BCAA’s in it, let alone 10g, you know that they do not usually mix well and often have some sort of foam/powder floating on top. Mettle has less floaties than previous BCAA’s I have tried and if you shake it enough everything will fully dissolve! The fact it does get that BCAA foamy texture on top to begin with doesn’t bother me and actually reassures me that it does indeed have a lot of BCAA’s in it.

Taste: 9/10 – I tried out the watermelon flavour and it was very tasty! I used 2 scoops in about 425ml of water (average sized bottle of water); however, 2 scoops in 425ml may have been too much, it was a bit too strong. This of course just depends on how much water you use. If you have ever tried Scivation Xtend’s watermelon than Mettle is basically a less sweet tasting version of it. Personally, I always thought Xtend was a bit too sweet, so Mettle’s watermelon was almost dead on for me.

Quality: 9.5/10 – Precision has used top notch ingredients in Mettle and seems to be looking to really get into the intra-workout market in Canada. If you often have intra-workouts then I would definitely recommend giving Mettle a shot. The only complaint some people may have is that it uses artificial sweeteners/flavours but hiding the taste of BCAA’s is NOT an easy feat to achieve so you can’t really blame them there.

Precision has just started shipping out their new products, so it may not be in stock at your local supplement store yet but it should be there in the very near future. Online stores are just getting it in stock now as well. I would suggest checking svncanada.com regularly as it should be in stock there very soon.
